『ウルティマ オンライン』10周年記念イベントがスタート

エレクトロニック・アーツ（EA）はMMORPG『ウルティマ オンライン』において、2007年9月25日（火）より10周年記念イベントを開催すると発表しました。

エレクトロニック・アーツ（EA）はMMORPG『ウルティマ オンライン』において、2007年9月25日（火）より10周年記念イベントを開催すると発表しました。

作成されてから 30 日以上が経過した全てのキャラクターに、記念グッズが入ったギフトボックスがプレゼントされるほか、ダンジョンでモンスターを倒すと「UO Logo Sculpture」「Map of Britannia」など様々なアイテムが入手できます。モンスターを倒すごとにアイテムの入手確率が上昇するのに加え、期間中は何度でも入手可能。「Katrina's Crook」「Lord Blackthorn's Exemplar」のように、「Ultima」ファンには馴染み深い名前のついた品もあり、ファンの注目を集めそうです。

同時に「懐かしのブリタニア2007」キャンペーンがスタートしています。
9月25日（火）〜10 月9 日（火）の期間中は休止プレイヤーも無料でゲームをプレイすることが可能。特別な手続きは必要なく、通常クライアントと新クライアント「甦りし王国」のどちらでもプレイできますので、この機会にブリタニアを覗いてみるのも楽しいのではないでしょうか。
